Weed Identification

Ask:
I found a really great website that shows which weeds are "in bloom" at what time, so you can identify the ones growing in your yard & see how to rid yourself of them!! The website is actually created for professional people--like golf course landscapers--but it's great for regular people, too!!

Oddly, there is a "weed" I just love called Purple Deadnettle which has tiny tubelike purple flowers & the prettiest leaf formation. Now that I can call it by its fancy name, I've talked my husband into allowing me to keep it--ha, ha, ha!!!
Answer:

Vety cool thanks!!! We can use this site when we do our Tip of the week threads.
Answer:

Thanks! I love it! Maybe I won't pull all of my carrots this year!
BTW:
I happened to catch the Martha Stewart Show a couple days ago & someone asked her a tip for telling weeds from perennials. She at first snorted, chuckled & said "Geez how long have you been gardening?"
Now, I haven't gotten on the "I Hate Martha" bandwagon, but I did think she was quite the bitch about that!
Answer:

Wow, I used to pick a lot of pretty weeds for my mom when I was a kid! And I ate a lot of weeds, too, if wild strawberries are weeds!

It is an interesting site, though, to learn how to get rid of some of them.
