I guess she heard it on Disney. It was the "knock knock" "who's there?" "Banana" "Banana who"...and a giggle!!! She did it three times...and then answered, "Orange"..I said, "Orange Who?"...She said, "Orange you glad I didn't say banana?"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She cracked up laughing. It was HILARIOUS!!!!! I almost cried...cause it was just so sweet that she GOT it!!!! They grow up SO fast.

Don't you just love the adorable giggles of the 3 yo, when she's sure she's got you with her joke? There is nothing better to melt your heart than the beautiful laughter of a child.

That is my favorite Knock, Knock joke. She sounds precious.
Answer:
Aww! My youngest will be 3 in August and she says a variation of that knock knock -- she just says knock knock (while knocking on my leg) I say who's there and she says banana peel! LOL only she pronounces it B-anna - it's sweet. They do grow up so fast! Makes me want another one only it would grow up too I suppose.
Answer:
yeah, that's the problem with having cute little babies. They do grow up. (not that I don't love my girls more than anything in this world!!!) It's just now they are both in school all day and they don't need me so much, anymore. It's sad.
Answer:
That is so funny. My kids (5 & 3) are all about the "made-up" knock knock jokes right now, none of which make sense, but they think they are all funny because mommy is laughing her head off driving down the road. For some reason, we primarily tell jokes in the car...
Now the 20 month old says "knock knock mommy....knock knock baby" and laughs her head off, which is soooo funny. She really thinks she is telling a funny joke!
Answer:
Wow your lucky she got it... My 3.5 year old tells me that joke every day however he doesn't quite get it. He'll say at the end....Aren't you glad i didn't say banana? So the punch line is messed up. Haha. I love it anyway.
Oh and as you probably already know she might start making up her own silly punchlines. Oh the fun of preschoolers.
