Ask:
One of my friends wants to obtain his GED as he never graduated from high school. He's a very smart man, has been in upper management since holding down a professional job, but he's missing the diploma/GED, and he's interested in making a career change and possibly attending college. Any ideas on how to obtain the GED?? And is there a way to study from home without having to attend classes, and simply taking the test in a class setting?
Answer:
I don't know much about this, but I do know they have GED study books at the library, so I think he could just check out a book and look through it, see what he needs to work on. I think you can take the tests at local community colleges. I don't think you have to take a course but I could be wrong.
