Ask:
My husband and I have a 4 month old daughter (our first). This last week she slept really well. She had previously woken throughout the night for us to give her her pacifier, however we got her to the point where she no longer uses a pacifier and took naps and went to bed well.
Now she has been not sleeping when we put her in the crib. She cries the minute we put her down. When we do actually get her down she wakes after 30 minutes of sleeping and cries for 30 minutes before we decide she's not going back to sleep. Lately she has also been waking at night.
Help!! Things were going so well, now what do we do?
Thanks!
Answer:
It's probably separation anxiety. Try rubbing her tummy when you put her in. Also I think that was about the time when both of my dds started with their blankets. They sleep w/ them every night now. It'll get better, don't worry.
