It depends...If I go duringthe AM (usually) it is me and my 5 year old. If i go in the evening , Iback into the driveway and Dh is usually there waiting for me. But Id o all the un-packing...not sure why...just how we do it.

They have been trained well-
I heavy grocery shop 1-2 times a month
Being older now DS and DD surprises usually are gift cards or their Subway or McD's card being paid on.
If they help put away groceries I mark it down and add info to next shopping expedition

My dh brings them in if we all go together, but lots of times I go while he's at work so I carry them all in myself then.
