Returning hair to natural color....

Ask:
I am thinking of returning my hair to it's natural color. My hairdresser has been doing foil highlights and the color she has been choosing and they way my hair grows I have to touch it up about every 7 weeks.... At $55 a pop, not lncluding haircut or blowdry or tip! Nor t mention to taking the time to have it done. Should I have her eturn it to my natural color or should I just do it myself with something I can get at CVS etc? If I was to do it myself what is a good brand? TIA!!!
Answer:

I forgot to mention I don't have any grays to cover up, so that is not an issue!!!

I just did the very same thing a while back. I say definitely go to your hairdresser. Yes, I paid to get it done initially, but she got a PERFECT match. I just went to get a haircut & she couldn't even tell where the roots matched the color!
It felt so good to just go in for the cut and not leave with a huge bill for cut, color, foils etc.!
Good luck

Thanks for sharing your advice!!! I am leaning towards having her do it!!!
Answer:

I agree, definitely go to your hairdresser/colorist to have it done. If you do it yourself (not an easy thing since it's a science, and tricky) and you don't like it, it will cost two or three times as much to have it fixed.
