3boysmommy I'm in Ca and just downsized our house so that I could be a sahm. So we sold a daybed (no more guest room) and an entryway table (no more entryway here) for $275. Everything else was dh and my clothes (our closets are smaller we had to clean them out) and household items (I was hanging onto because???). We priced things to sell lets just say. I suggest putting price tags on everything! It made it easier for dh and I to be on the same page and stopped people from having to ask "how much is this on everything". I think having prices on things helped, my girlfriend didn't and I think I did much better, people walked up and handed me whatever the tag said or asked if I would take less (which I usually did). I hope this helps!

I'm gearing up for one in mid May. I've been pricing and sorting, have a huge issue going on in the basement thou. I get overwhelmed just walking down there much less looking in the boxes....

Awesome! I wish I had tried to sell some of the stuff I tossed after my divorce, too late now. I agree with pricing everything... I won't buy something if I have to ask how much it is.
