My stupid town has a burning allowed on the fi rst 7 days of the month. At 5:30 am today my older neighbor began to BURN TRASH.... which proceeded to come in my windows and right up my little nose! Migraine central- I just wanted to enjoy my windows open for just a few days... Im totally disgusted- needed to rant! Thanks.....sigh

I'd call the city and see if there is a rule about how early or late in the day you can burn, and if there are no rules, I'd complain and propose some. Burning trash smell is horrid. I can't believe they would allow trash to be burned!

We are allowed to burn here. There is no way we could dispose of all our yard waste if we didn't.
We are allowed to burn from sunrise to sunset. Yes, we close our windows.

If it makes you feel better my neighbors burn their trash all the time! Its illegal to burn certain trash yet they do it anyway. Its odd that they let you burn trash. I can see limbs, leaves, etc. but trash is horrible.

We are not allowed to burn trash just yard waste- I think this woman doesnt think this applies to HER....I saw her out there poking it throught the bottowm w a stick... THEN I watched the police go and talk to her..... Im sure she doesnt care... But Im sick now and have to use my Imitrex nasal ($50.00 each) I just wanted to have an enjoyable nights rest.... YOU BET the windows are closed.
Too bad for her now tho.... tomorrow is trash pick up and they WONT take her's if its at all warm! The way it smoldered- I dont see how it couldnt be warm! Win some you lose some.... can u tell I have PMS? lol
