Proud of my boys

Ask:
I was going shopping the other day and asked my kids if there was anything that they wanted me to buy for them. They both started making a list:

broccoli
asparagus
apples
grapefruit....

hehehe.....what little kids do this? I think I've totally brainwashed them. Cool.....

Another thing that made me smile....When I was cashing out, the cashier said to me, "Wow, your family eats really healthy!" I guess I was proud of me too!
Answer:

Good job Mom!!!!! No way would those have been on my kids list. Haha!! We eat them but they wouldn't suggest i get them.
Answer:

That's exciting! My kids do the same thing and we aren't veggie. They are just conscious (sp?) of eating healthy. Glad that things are sinking in at your house!!
Answer:

That's cool. My son asks for off the wall veggies and fruits, and I just get them - at least he tries them, even if we end up throwing it away. It's worth it to me!
Answer:

Good for you! You deserve a internet pat on the back!! Jayden is like that too... he doesn't always ASK for them, but will put veggies and fruit in the buggy. He RARELY eats candy which is HIS decision not mine (unless it's a sucker) and hates chocolate. He's always asking for apples, bananas and grapes though.
Answer:

Good for you! My daughter eats a lot of raw veggies that kids her age wouldn't like, but she still eats a lot of candy or tries too.
