Ask:
Im taking the plunge. I usually sell clothes on ebay. But my kids are growing out of things faster than I can list them! Now with DJ growing out of things... clothes are PILING up!!! So, Im selling everything in the neighborhood garage sale coming up!
Going through them and putting stuff in the "sell" pile is HARDDDDDD! The girls baby stuff. It was hard to do it without crying. I better make a TON of money off this .. cause its way too emotional. lol
Answer:
I know the feeling. I have a ton of things that I refuse to get rid of right now. Maybe in a couple years. Some things I will consign in the fall, but not yet. I'm not ready.
Answer:
aww!! I can relate!! I have a hard time selling off my girls clothes!! there are some I remember then doing things in and can totally picture it!! !!
Answer:
I just let it all out. I was loaning all of my boys' clothes to my brother, and everytime I would fold something to give to him, I would picture my little guys in them. Oooohhh, the heartache.
I feel for you.
And good luck with the sale!
Answer:
I still have a box of clothes from my DS and DD and they are 34 and 27. I have the outfit I brought them home from the hospital and some other things I could not part with.
My DGD wore the same baby gowns her Dad, my DS, had worn. I have pictures of her in them. They are priceless. I also have a box of clothes I am saving for DGD as she grows up.
I understand it is very emotional. It kinda lets you relive part of their life when you see the clothes they use to wear.
Answer:
That's how I knew I really sort of wanted another baby... I could not bear to part with their baby clothes!!! I went through them and got so emotional and sad!
I'd better have another boy so he can wear all these things! I will flip out if I get a girl --- I don't know what I'd do!
Answer:
