I can't win. The dr. called and had me come in first thing this morning. I am just now, at lunch, getting home. I had an EKG done, blood work, and a lot of poking and prodding! My bp is high, my heart IS skipping beats, and my head is STILL pounding. I came home OFF of Wellbutrin forever, and with an rx for pain meds (gee, six kids, how does one take pain meds when they knock you off your butt?!?!) and a new anti-anxiety/depression med (prozac this time since three of these type of drugs now have had adverse reactions with me, and prozac I took years ago with no problems! I sort of felt like it was overkill, since I am not depressed as much as just overwhelmed..but he said to not worry about being the dr!! ) I have a follow up in three weeks...and if there are any new symptoms, I am to head straight in. Since I am coming OFF the meds, though, he said that the symptoms should be all but gone in a day or two. Thank goodness. My dh was a paramedic for 12 years...and do you know that THREE times last night I woke up to him checking my pulse??!?!?! He has NEVER done that before! I think he was afraid I might not wake up this morning!!! (which scared me even more that HE was scared!) Anyhow, I am glad I listened to my gut and went in. Scary, scary, scary! Never assume that a medicine you have been on for a while is okay to continue to take, if you are having odd symptoms! Lesson learned...for me the hard way!

I'm so glad that you caught this before it caused something more serious! I hope you feel better once it's out of your system, and you do well with your new med! Good thoughts and prayers . . .
Answer:
Oh my!! I am glad you got it figured out!
Answer:
I'm so thankful you went to the doctor. I hope Prozac does not bother you. I am on 40 mg. generic prozac. I started at 20 and then moved to 40 mg. I have been taking it for the last year.
