Network Drops Gilmore Girls
The season finale of the Gilmore Girls just became the series finale. Rumored for several weeks, the cancellation was made official Thursday in a joint statement released by the CW, which carries the mix of comedy and drama and Warner Bros. the studio that produces it.
The final episode will air at 8 Tuesday 5-15-07. It will end with Lorelai and Luke reaching a new understanding.

I really do like this show (DD and I will dance and sing along to the theme song ) but I think this is a case where the show has just run its course and its better to let go while it's still entertaining than to let it drag on and on. I will miss it though.

I'm not too surprised...I think it's getting kinda boring. What is this...the 7th Season? It's had a pretty good run I think. For me though, the first few seasons were cute and then, I don't know, I kinda lost interest. I really do not like Rory's boyfriend, Logan or Christopher for that matter! So I was a little dismayed when Lorelai married him in Paris, thank goodness it didn't last! L.OL! I really like the Lane character and I don't know why they joined her up with Zack. Ack!

Yes, i dont like Christopher. I think Luke is yummy! There needs to be a wedding with Luke and Lorilei. Maybe not Rory and Logan, although they are a cute "couple". All the characters are so fun; Kirk, Lorilei's parents, all the crazy people of Stars Hollow. I would want to live in Stars Hollow!!! (well, probably just to see Luke every day!) did i mention i think he is yummy?!?!?!?

The show was always supposed to end when Rory graduated college, at least until The WB made Amy Sherman-Palladino split Luke & Lorelai up to 'make things more interesting' and she bailed on the show. L&L were supposed to be happily married & pregnant this season.

I really hope they end it with Luke and Lorieli getting married. I love this show, it so sad that they are ending it. It should have gone on for one more season so they bring it to an end better.
