Today is going to be a very memorable day for us at our tiny base. We are taking our 4 kids to story time with Laura Bush! I'm so excited for the kids. They will get some goodies, and she will read to them. It's going to last an hour and a half all together. I am desperately hoping to get some good pictures!!!!

Well, it wasn't what we thought it would be, but with understanding. The First Lady couldn't be there because she is with the Queen at the White House. However, she DID read them their story VIA video and explained why she couldn't be here. Then they gave the kids bags with a scrapbook for when their parents are deployed, and a story book about a parent who is deployed. It was very well done and the kids had a blast. I will post a pic soon.
