Actually it went really well. I took her and her friend to an outlet mall and we shopped for several hours. Then we had dinner at Max & Erma's and then back to finish up the stores we hadn't hit yet. Since her birthday was Wed and she has been so busy, we just gave her 2 books from her brother then, so I bought her a bunch of stuff yesterday from Gap, Aeropostele (or however you spell that), J Crew, and Banana Republic for her bday. Then she & her girlfriend bought coloring books and crayons (she got hello kitty which she LOVES) and they colored all the way home...yep...two 17 year olds. I timed it so we wouldn't get home until about 9 PM so all the neighborhood kids would be gone and we wouldn't have to see them going out. She seems fine today.
