If I wanted to make & sell children's clothing on Ebay, what are the "rules?" It seems like anyone can have a business these days, but how do I make sure my business is being run legally (as far as tax laws, business license requirements, etc.)

I've done it on ebay, and there are really no 'rules'. YOu can get a business licence, but to just sell on ebay, its not a requirement. Have you done a search on ebay and maybe asked some of the others that sell on there?? there are TONS of ladies that make and sell children's clothes on there. I only dabbled in it, I sold a few things I made, nothing major so I'm not much help at all. I sell my bows and flip flops on there, it seems to go okay.

Actually, I've done ZERO research. I am actually thinking of making t-shirts that I already make for my own son--but that I thought others may be intereested in buying (and of course the extra $$$ wouldn't hurt!) I've only been on Ebay a few times--bid on a vintage Fisher-Price item, won it & I've never really been back!!
