Lily-of-the-Valley are known for their delicate bell-shaped, fragrant white flowers growing on a stalk between two shiny leaves. It is perfect for a sweet little vase in the kitchen or the office. In cool climates it is invasive and spreads slowly until it reaches some kind of barrier to make a lovely carpet. It loves a cold winter and can last centuries. They are maintenance-free except for an occasional mulch.

these guys spread like crazy!!!! I am actually giving a pot of them to teachers as gifts. they are so pretty and if they want they can plant or toss them. either way I get rid of them. Deer do not like them. I lined my back 40 garden with them to help get animals at bay. It's been raining so they havn't bloomed yet but I will take pic of them.

If anyone wants some, let me know. I have shipped them b4.

Here's the bigger picture, the front half of the garden is Lily of the Valley. It is now overtaking the rest of the bed. the back half is day lilies (not blooming yet)
