Does anyone watch The King of Queens?

Ask:
If so could I please know what is going on?! My dh and I watched tonight and we are so confused. The last time I remembered it was on was a few weeks ago (or maybe last week) when Adam Sadler was on and he and Doug went to their high school reunion. I was a bit confused when Carrie saw her dad in the video store. And on tonights episode I hear he moved out because he's getting married and Carrie and Doug have separated? Wow did we miss a lot it seems. And is next Mon the very last series episode? TIA
Answer:

Yeah, I caught the end of last nights episode and went .. "huh?" myself. From what I got Carrie moved to an apartment in Manhattan after her dad moved out. She's always wanted to live there, Doug doesnt so he stayed in the house. Ok - guess that doesnt help you much does it as you probably saw the same thing. But yeah, next week is the series finale. Guess we'll have to catch up on repeats.
Answer:

Way back when they bought the house in Queens, they looked at an apt in Manhattan. Carrie really liked it and wanted it. Doug found out that the waiting list was YEARS long, so he figured they'd never get it, so he told her YES! Lets get it! To make it seem like he wanted the apt too! Knowing full well it would never come to fruition. So they put their names on the list and she was disappointed since it was YEARS away and would probably never happen blah blah blah, so they bought the house in Queens.

Suddenly, a letter comes from the apt saying it's finally AVAILABLE! Doug decides that he has to show Carrie the letter, there is no way that they'll be able to move because of Arthur.

Well Arthur ends up marrying this singer and moving in with her...so now they CAN move to the apt in Manhattan!

Doug doesn't want to move and refuses...Carrie decides she's taking it, she moved into Queens and didn't want to and now it's her turn to live where she wants. They haven't really 'separated'...she wants Doug to come to the apt in the city. He's being stubborn etc
