Answer:
Went on my first girl's trip. 4 of us went to Anna Maria Island off the coast of Bradenton (near Tampa.) No clocks, no tv, no telephones for 12 days. I went snorkeling and learned to scuba dive, spent a lot of time sitting on the beach staring at the ocean lost in thought, got an outdoor massage at a beautiful ocean side spa, went to an aquarium, and did some shopping. The most fun was drinking with my girls at our favorite outdoor bar, we became friendy with the wait staff - they invited us to their after hrs party every night and then threw a surprise party at the bar for us on our last night.
It was one of the best times of my life.

Answer:
I bought myself a "divorce ring".
A good friend of mine was going through a divorce at the same time...and she was upset about not having a "diamond" to wear because she loved her rings.... So she came up with this idea and wore it on her right hand.
I loved the idea, so I did the same thing. Not a solitare (traditional) ring...but a very pretty one. I still wear it most of the time to this day. to me it is a symbol of my "independence", standing up for myself, and the first step that I took at making myself happy and not everyone else...if that makes any sense at all.

It makes total sense to me, I didn't buy any one thing but there were a few things I did or bought that gave me the same feeling... my girls trips, my first car, moving to my first home after the divorce. It's a good feeling.
Answer:
I got my belly button pierced. I just now took it out though.. It just wasn't that appealing to me anymore.
