Oh, Dad for sure. I've had hints of this with how he relates to my ten year old son, so I know where we're headed with our newborn. But then, this is my dh's first baby, so maybe you treat your own differently. Its going to be interesting to find out. Its funny, cause dh is sooo masculine, to hear him doing baby talk to our three month old! Maybe both of us are going to be softies!

I always thought I would be the strictest. I grew up in an "orderly" house, while dh ran a bit free!! Well, much to my suprise, it is me who is lenient with them, and dh who hollers more, jumps at little things, wants curfews earlier, etc! I think he is scared they will do what HE did when he was their age!!

definitely me. I grew up in a no-rules household and created my own boundaries. I am such a rule-abider - I even get mad when people don't know all the tiny rules to board games! Dad is much more flexible, lets the nieces and nephews do whatever they want.
