The Money Savey Scrapper

Ask:
So I thought I would start a post to ask about budget tips. I am always look at the scrapin supplies but rarely buy anything. I am pretty sure that there are others who also have a budget that is very tight. What are your big tips to save big?
Answer:

Ok I will answer my own post.
Tip#1 buy in bulk!!! on my earliest books I would pick out the paper I wanted for each page and buy individule sheets now I buy only paper slabs. I even have bought albums, adhesives, pens and page protectors in bulk

Tip #2 Recycle. Got a greating card that you know someone spent $3.95 on. I take it apart and find ways to use them to emblish my pages. Beside MIL makes killer cards I have to incorporate.

Tip #3 Ask and you shall recieve. I am always asking for new scrapin tools for christmas or my birthday and my mom and MIL normally do a good job of finding what I want

Tip #4 Buy things you will use many times over. I use things like corner rounders, paper trimmers, shape cutters and more tools many times over to me they are worth paying a little extra for something I can use all the time

Thats it for me what are your best tips?

Keep your eyes open! I found two nice adhesive runners today at Wal-mart. One was marked down from 4.88 to $1 and the other from $8.97 to $2.25. I always buy stuff when it's a dollar or less. I got bunches of stickers today for 75 cents.

I also love the dollar tree but you have to hit it at the right time. Sometimes they have very little and other times they have a ton of stuff. I have found a few people who sell scraping supplies at holiday bazaars for great prices
