Ladies.....I need some ideas.
I live in Orange County California. DH & I will be taking the weekend following the 4th of July off from work. So we will have 5-8 off. We would love to take a little mini vacation for those days. We have $700.00 to spend......I just don't know where we can for that amount of money.
My question is....................Where can I go and stay within my budget??? Does anyone have any input or ideas they would like to share???

Up on the Big Sur coast is a place called Beejun's Big Sur Inn. They are rustic cabins - very rustic but they used to be very cheap. I don't know if the place has been discovered but if they haven't, they would be a great deal.
You should also check out the KOA website. You don't have to have an RV to stay at a KOA Campground. As a matter of fact they have amazing deals on what they call Kamping Kabins (no bathrooms but there are shared bathrooms available) and Kamping Lodges (mini-kitchen AND a bathroom). There are several good options in the CA / AZ / NV area.
