I have a new house and I've planted a garden in what I thought was a previous owner's garden spot but evidently was a VERY LARGE sandbox ....... any way I've bought in new soil and so far the only thing I have growing is a about 30 potatoe plants. Every day more and more appear - truthfully I didn't think I planted that many but at least something is growing! And as I am in Idaho, though be it Northern Idaho, I guess potatoes is the logical thing. Man, I hope SOMETHING else appears!

What a find! Potatoes are GREAT to have!! I know someone who plants potatoes every year and has them for the winter as well!
