We spent the entire day out there today....a full nine hours! I am so pleased with how it looks. All the bushes and trees are trimmed and shaped. I got out some flowers that are hardy for owners like me!!! I even spent a few hours splitting monkey grass in half in order to spread it around our front flower beds (Apparently the original owners only put it in clumps here and there, but I wanted it as a full border.). We cut grass, weedeated, edged, put out weed and feed, etc. too. All I have left is to get a couple of stepping stones to lead to my kids' playhouse, some miracle grow to put out with my new flowers, and some grass seed for an area I took a garden out of!!! I even got ready to cut down my roses that I have over a trellis....because I thought they were dead from our second frost. I was thrilled to get out there and find that once I did cut down the old stuff, I have BLOOMS....LOTS OF BLOOMS!!!! I am so excited...this is just in time for all of our families to be here next week and the week after for dd's graduation!!!
And, if you all don't see me for a couple of days, it is because I will be too stiff to WALK to the computer!
