I was walking up the 4 concrete steps from our patio to the living room door carrying a plate with the last hot dog and burger on it... the dog was laying at the top of the stairs blocking the door from opening. I told him 3 times to move, he ignored me until I took the 3rd step... then he jumped up ran down the stairs and completely knocked me off my feet. I fell face down, the plate went flying and smashed, my food was then eaten by the dog, I landed on my right elbow (Scraped up and bleeding) my chin (scraped up) my left shin smashed into the corner of the step in 2 places (bruised and scraped) my right shin also smashed in the corner of the step (bruised and scraped.)
DH and his friends were here grilling dinner, they had just finished getting the lawn pelled back so that I can till my new veggie garden (I will be posting pics later) They all helped me up and got first aid supplies to get me fixed up... then they started cracking jokes about it. I'm sure it looked funny to a bunch of half drunk men but I'm still not laughing about it.
I get to kick off the shorts and capri season with huge ugly scrapes and bruises all down my shins... oh joy!
Answer:
I am so sorry that happened. I am sure it hurt badly. I am sure your dog enjoyed his dinner, though.
Answer:
Owww!!! I am so sorry!! My dogs have their moments too when I am not so thrilled with them!!!
Answer:
I'm sorry ... if it helps my mother's dog is staying with us while she's out of town this weekend and she's (along with my dog) is driving me, the kid, and the cats crazy! Animals are such a pain and I often wonder why we have them -- of course we were looking into getting a bunny rabbit today! Like we need any more!
