I bought tickets for a mother's day brunch a couple of weeks ago to be held at our church so that my family and I could all be together and enjoy each other. Also, when we stay home, we tend to go our separate ways in our home. I had my three girls go to church with my husband and I. It was a beautiful morning, a great meal, and wonderful company.
On the way home, my husband decides to take us all for a "ride." Guess where we end up? At a nail salon where my dh surprised me with a manicure and pedicure!!!!
Not only for me, but for my three girls as well!!! My 12 year old got both, and my 7 and 8 year olds got manicures. This was my FIRST pedicure ever!!!!!And I loved it. I had no idea what I was missing. I just had to say that I am one of the luckiest moms...
I have to say, though, just by being together was and has always been all I ever wanted for mothers day or any day for that matter. Just thought I'd share my day and hope you all had a great day with your children!!!!!!
