Ask:
He was so funny. He wouldn't even consider practicing at home...so we thought for sure he would clam up this morning. He is my child that has had some serious social skill problems, partly stemming from a shy personality, partly from the meds he takes for ADHD. I was shocked that they even picked him because of his shyness (his ADHD is totaly under control, so much that most people don't know he has it unless they see him OFF the meds!)!! He told dh when they got there that dh could NOT come in the office with him to videotape! But, he did allow dh to stand outside and video through the office window! LOL And, since it was on the intercom, we could hear it..sort of (if you strain over the other voices saying the pledge, too!!). I am so proud. He has come a LONG way from the first weeks of school where he had to be carried in by the principal bawling his eyes out for hours after we left him!
