I know some of it was water weight but I lost 3 lbs from last week!
I am just plain counting calories and exercising 3X a week and yoga. The Point system of WW never worked well for me I find soooo much less deprived just watching calories. I actually think it was putting me in 'starvation mode' because when I followed the Points, even at the most Points I didn't lose weight! I'm now on a 1356 calorie a day plan and find it much easier, less depriving and...I'm losing weight!!

Good for you Stormy. I am doing the same thing - counting calories and sticking to between 1200 and 1500 a day and exercising 3 to 5 times a week - and it is working for me as well.
I just HAVE to ask... how the heck did you come up with the number 1356????

Hi Maggie, I had no idea what my caloric intake was supposed to be per day in order to Lose weight. I saw many websites that told you how much you were supposed to take in to Maintain your weight but I need to lose.
So I found this website where you enter in your age, height, healthy weight you want to be at and sex. Then it 'calculates' how much you need to take in, in order to lose a pound a week. Then if it doesn't work you can add or subtract until you find the perfect range for yourself. This was the number it spit out at me!
