Ways to tell family your pregnant??? Any ideas??

Ask:
Okay, so Im a day late. I was supposed to start yesterday and didnt which got me to thinking...Dh and I would like to tell our families in a special way that we are preggo rather than just telling them. Anyone have any ideas of things that we could do? TIA
Answer:

I've heard a few, someone wrapped up the positive test and gave it to their dh. Another had their 1st child wear a big sister tshirt and had grandma take off her coat. One gma was stunned and didn't say a word, the other was excited.
Answer:

WE let Meghan tell the family. She was all of 3 and jumped up and down telling Grandma "mommy has a baby in her tummy!" It was so funny and the look on MIL's face was priceless.
Answer:

Wrap up a picture of the ultra sound as a gift to the grandparents. Have your youngest child wear a shirt that says i'm a big "brother or sister"..........Get a maternity t-shirt for youself that has the arrow pointing down at your tummy and see how long it takes for someone to notice.
Have them over for dinner and serve all baby sized food...baby carrots, baby corn, and those little wieners......etc.......
Answer:

We never did anything cool until this last time, because I made dh keep his mouth shut!

I made t-shirts for the boys. Gavin's said "I'm a big brother AGAIN". And Dylan's said "I'm a big brother TOO".

I hope, hope, hope you'r pregnant!!!!!

I think these ladies have given you a wonderful idea. I had a plan but dh ruined it by blabbing to his mom so I had to hurry and tell my mom. Of course this might not work since you already have kids but I was going to get a card and on the outside put you've always been good parents and on the inside put are you ready to be grand? Lol Of course you might be able to change it up somehow.

I like the idea of the youngest wearing a shirt saying I'm going to be a big sis and just see how long it takes people to notice.
Answer:

I called my mom to ask what she was doing in May (my due date). She said she had no idea and WHY??! I told her that I needed a babysitter since I would be spending a few days in the hospital! LOL Then I told her WHY. She was shocked (as was EVERYONE since dh was FIXED two years before that!!).
Answer:

When I was pregnant with my first we made dh's parents a food/candy poster that said were were "Prego" with "Baby Ruth". For my parents I sent them a pink and blue balloon to them at work that said "see you in June Love, Baby G".
We didn't do anything fun with our second.
This time around we called their houses during the day because they all work. I had dd leave them a voicemail saying "guess what there is a baby in mommy's belly" Then we just waited to see how long it would take them to get the message. Dh's mom got the message first. I had to tell my mom she needed to go home and check her messages. So she got it late that evening. It was fun!
Answer:

I bought a t-shirt for my ds that said I'm going to be the big brother and was going to wait until they noticed. But I got severe morning sickness so I couldn't wait till the t-shirt came and they were wondering what was up. But With my next I am going to buy a couple cheap plates at the dollar tree and write on them the news and have them for dinner serving the food on top and just wait till they eat enough to read the news.
