Ask:
Whenever er got out to dinner with my family, my inlaws let their 2 and 5 yr old daughters order and drink soda. Pepsi, Sprite etc. I have kids the same age and it is either milk, juice or water... Just curious!!
Answer:
I do let my girls choose. Sprite is the only soda they are allowed, but I have found given the chance they will choose milk or juice 75% of the time.
Answer:
Nope. My kids will never have soda if I have anything to say about it. But then, I don't drink soda either (don't like the taste). I would much rather they drink water, juice, or milk (which is what I drink).
Answer:
Yes, in restaurants, on occasion they do. At home, NEVER. My two year old doesn't like carbonation, so she gets juice or milk, but the 3 and 5 year old do get the occasional soda.
Answer:
My dd will get pop if we go out once and awhile. It is like a special treat for her. She will usually choose milk or water though. She does not drink any juice. She just doesnt like it.
Answer:
My son is 3 and I let him drink soda. I only buy Diet Rite and he drinks it. If we eat out, I give him something clear like Sprite, 7up, etc.
Answer:
I was just really surprised by it. I didn't recall haivng soda until I was about 10 at bday parties...I could imagine give my 2 year old pepsi! How about some caffiene and a toddler!!! :-)
Answer:
OopS!!! I meant to say could not imagine!!!
Answer:
My son doesnt drink it, he only prefers water than anything else.
Answer:
Sprite is caffeine free that is the only reason it is an option for my dds My oldest tends to be a little hyper anyway so I NEVER on purpose give her anything else, and she knows she can't handle it.
We do drink too much soda though, and are trying to change that.
