Well I emailed the guy back saying that I needed more information before agreeing (of course after giving him my address (Which is a RR Box). Well I got an email this AM saying an overnight package is on its way and here's the tracking number. I tracked it and it's in the next town over and being delivered this AM! Now what do I do?
If it's a check, do I deposit it and wait a month for it to clear?
He wants me to Western Union his cut after I cash it today (Yeah right!).

Yep, it was on about a month ago. On their investigation they showed how people steal credit card numbers, buy stuff online and ship it to middle men (like Shabin) who are unaware that it's stolen merchandise. The middle man is then supposed to ship it elsewhere, usually a foreign country halfway around the world.
I hate to tell you, but this sounds like the exactly the same thing. It is a scam and it is probably very illegal.

It does kionda sound like what dateline was doing a story on. Sounds like you may be getting in on a idenity theif ring, I would not accept the package I would send it back to the sender . If you miss it when they deliver take it back to the ups and have them return it. You will end up scamed and may end up in trouble if it is part of a idenity theif ring. I would also report that ad to craigslist ! so that someone eles doesnt get scammed. Good luck

Also, make copies of all of the e-mails you have and the Craigslist ad and give that to the police as well!! The police can tell you whether or not you should accept the pkg.
