Ask:
Getting ready for a tag sale, what would you price these at (and/or what would you pay for them at a tag sale?):
Lego table - clean, has 2 drawers, lego top and 2 chairs
Girls coats - MANY of them. Have winter coats, jackets and denim jackets -- most NEVER worn
Pier 1 : 3 drawer white wicker dresser. Excellent condition.
Thx.
Answer:
Isn't pricing for a garage sale tough? It's hard to think about what we've paid for these items brand new, and know that we only get a small fraction of that back at a sale.
Here's my opinion for how I would price your items:
Lego table - clean, has 2 drawers, lego top and 2 chairs $10-12
Girls coats - MANY of them. Have winter coats, jackets and denim jackets -- most NEVER worn $2-4
Pier 1 : 3 drawer white wicker dresser. Excellent condition. $10
Answer:
It is so hard to price! Here is what I think:
Lego table $8.00
Coats: $5.00-$7.00
Pier one dresser $50.00 (start at that and be willing to negotiate )
Good Luck!
Answer:
It is definitely hard to price!
I tend to price slightly higher than what i am willing to sell for since people here always want to offer less than the tag. And, I usually put a 50% off sign with just an hour or so left at the sale
I'd say;
Lego table $10-15
Coats $3-5 (IME, people just won't pay more than that for any clothes at a yard sale)
Pier 1 wicker dresser - $25-35
Good luck!!
Answer:
I agree with Pandi410, those were the price ranges I was going to suggest!
Good luck with your sale!
