I was bit of an unsual kid, but I was obsessed with orphans and boarding schools. I loved Annie, Anne of Green Gables, A Little Princess and loved this one book series called Mandie about a girl in boarding school. I drove my friends crazy because all I ever wanted to play was orphanage or boarding school. I pretended I ran an orphanage and kept little files on all my dolls.

When I was very little I had a Mrs. Beasley (not sure if that is the correct spelling) doll. When I was a bit older I was Strawberry Shortcake all the way! I figure I'm getting payback for all the work that I put my entire family through attempting to find the Strawberry Shortcake dolls, especially Orange Blossom - she was hard to find!
