Ask:
I had a garage sale this weekend and asked Becca my 9 year old to help me take the hutch off my buffet, remember my 9 yr old is 5 foot tall and 120 pounds, she had helped me move it before, well as we were moving the hutch some how she caught the buffet with it and it knocked it over on her foot and she dropped the hutch on the buffet Well it swelled and brusied instantly! So I got Mandy my 15 yr old to help me fireman carry her into the house and put ice on it. I got the rest of the stuff into the garage and went to look at her foot, it was still swelling and brusing so I took her to the er. It is broke. Along the 5th toe in the growth plate area! They saw pieces of bones floating in there. Man oh man we see the ortho tomorrow. She is nonweight bearing and on tylonal 3. Poor thng is so brused and swollen! I just hope she doesn't need surgery! My husband is so bummed he is in Iraq and not here to help her!

Owie, owie, owie!! Gosh, I can only imagine the pain your dd is suffering and the heartache you feel. Wishing a speedy recovery to her!!
Answer:
Oh, I do hope all is well and quickly on the mend! But if it makes you feel better, I have also been in the running for this elusive MOTY title:
Yesterday my 9 YO ds wanted a toasted bagel, and thinking that this would be a good learning experience for him, I let him do it on his own in the toaster oven while I sat at the kitchen table (3 feet away). Well the bagel finished and I explained step-by-step how to CAREFULLY remove the bagel, butter it, etc, etc. Well he ended up scraping his finger on the hot part of the oven and immediately broke out in tears!! THE GUILT was unbearable! He was fine a few minutes later after some hugs and ice, and wasn't seriously hurt, but I felt horrible all the same!!!!
Answer:
