I have been thinking alot about this lately. My youngest will soon go to school, and my dh is insisting that I get a job. I will be working in the school system, because that is what works best for me and my children. And I will probably like that very much, because I like kids so much. But really, I would love to be a nurse in ob/gyn. I just think that helping mothers bring their children into the world would be great! I would love that! So what would your dream job be?

My dream job is in the medical field either being a nurse on the labor and delivery floor or working for a shock trauma center either as a OR nurse or ER nurse I love the high paced atmosphere and all the learning that you would constantly be doing

I would love to have Oprah's job .. and I don't mean for the money. I'd do it for what I make now. I'd love to talk to people all day long, interview interesting guests, make people's lives better and bring out the positive in TV land.
That or Melody Hobson's job from GMA. We have similar personalities. She is the only other person I've seen who can get just as bubbly and enthusiastic about finances. Actually there are lots of enthusiastic women I can think of now that talk about money ... Suze Orman being another one.

Now, totally non-realistic, I would love to be a ski instructor for kids at a large resort. It would combine my love of the sport, mountains and kids all into one.
Currently we are striving and working toward my "realistic" dream job...Raising, Breeding & Selling Alpacas and their fiber. Crossing my fingers we will get there this year.

I actually have my dream job. All I ever wanted to do is be a SAHM. I worked in the wine business and loved it, being a wine maker would be the only thing I could think of. Now what would be my dream job for DH? Now that's a totally different question. He is in Food & Beverage, so my dream job for him would be Food & Beverage Director at the Grand Dunes Resort in Myrtle Beach or at a wonderful resort on some tropical island
