Ask:
I am interviewing a personal organizer today. I need to get orgasnized and get this place completely unpacked and all. So here is where i need your help..... What kinds of questions should I ask her, What should I be expcting to get out of this stuff like that lol. I am clueless as you can tell.
Answer:
I probably won't be much help, but I attempted to hire one and determined not to do it. I needed someone to actually do some of the work, as I had a little baby - I had NO time to do it myself. I found some decent people and interviewed them by phone. One was really nice and professional.
However, she was just going to give me ideas on what to do, and give me homework assignments. It was going to be very expensive, minimum $300. I could take that money and pay a girl to clean and organize, you know? So....find out exactly what she will do, tell her some of your challenge areas and see what she says. I had enough work to do - I didn't need anyone piling on homework. So go into it realistically. If you have the time to do the actual work, that is great. But for ideas only, I could look at magazines and talk to my mommysaver friends. If I were more organized and had more time to begin with, it probably would have been successful - it's not like those TV shows where they do all the work.
One good thing she said, backed up by "experts" is don't go out and buy a bunch of cute organizing bins until you are already sorted. You will overspend. You will also find you probably need less than you would have bought.
Answer:
Well she came and was willing to do all the work for me at 50$ an hour. Well I told my hubby and he said no way no how was he going to pay someone tat much money to do what I can do. So until I get this house organized and cleaned up to the T I will be spending my nights while the kids are asleep unpacking and cleaning and all. and during the day keping up with all the normal stuff that you have to do.
Answer:
Grrrr. What you can do? How 'bout what HE can do! Why doesn't he just get out the whippin' chains and pull you around by your hair? Bad. I would pay $50/hr. It would be worth it!
Answer:
He cant cause he is not here lol. If he was here he would be helping me.
