I am interested in planting garlic, and wondered if anyone has experience with this? If so...any tips for a larger yield. I was also initially told you need to plant in the fall, however, and now learning this isn't true??

My dh planted some this spring, in April, I think. I read that it should stay in for 13 weeks. I don't know anymore than that. I hope ours works, we had to dig it up and move it half way through.

it spreads. my grandma plants garlic and she always has more than she can use, she said its like a weed. so you should gets lots of it!
