Ask:
This is an idea that came from the most recent issue of Backyard Living. I think it sounds really fun, and easy. I am gonna try it Thought I would pass it on.

For an impressive crop of potatoes, try this: Place a tire on the ground, fill it with potting soil and plant a few potatoes. When they begin to sprout, place another tire on the top of the first one, filling it with more potting soil. Each time you see more potato sprouts, add another tire. When it's time to harvest, unstack the tires. A tall tire stack means a great yield of potatoes. Using this method has produced five to six times more potatoes then planting in the ground. ~~ Chris Hale Avilla, Indiana
Answer:
My dad told me about that last year when I started my garden. I think it sounds cool. But we live in a very residential neighborhood, I think I would look a little redneck if I had stacks of tires in my backyard. I would do it if I made some smaller wooden frames to stack.
