For the past few years I have had trouble mowing under the wooden swing set. Really where the slide and rock wall are.. I have gardened since birth it seems.. NEVER once did it occure to plant flowers under there. Until I went on a garden tour. They had the cutest kid friendly area. So I tackled the project last fall. Completed it with edging and wood chips. This summer has been a dream. The dd'd love their garden. I planted hosta's and columbine. They then have planted some annuals under there for color.. Just an idea, I know I'm not the only one..

Thanks! It's one of DH's biggest gripes with the playset area. We usually just have ours out in the yard, and he hates hates hates the slide area.
Great Idea!

Sounds cute! We have a big wooden swing set. We just finished the edging this summer and filled it with playground bark. The small area under the main platform is just filled with sand for a small sandbox.

Thanks for the idea. I've toyed with it for a long time, but I think I will actually try that now. I have a trampoline with a huge bare spot under it now. I am going to try and plant some hostas and whatever else I can find to put there.
