Update on my heart!

Ask:
I keep forgetting to say thank you for all the prayers and good thoughts. I saw the dr. last Friday...and all the tests came back that it WAS the medication that had caused it. They have it in my records now that I am not to EVER take Wellbutrin again! It took several weeks to work it out of my system, but it has actually been a full week now since I had the last palpatation! YEAH!!! It scared me pretty good...and it turned out that it was a good thing I had all the tests done. My cholesterol is off (good is low, bad is high), and while I have no idea how they read all the numbers in between, the dr. was shocked that a female, especially a vegetarian female, had numbers like that. I started cholesterol medicine, and he figures, even if I was to loose fifty pounds and exercise daily, I will still need this for life. I can handle that...since it means my life will be LONGER this way!!!
Answer:

Jennifer, thanks for posting an update. I am SO GLAD to hear that it was your medication. How scary this must have been for you!! At least now they won't ever give you that particular medication again. And you found out about your cholesterol problem, which is a little blessing. Things happen for a reason, so perhaps you were meant to go through this crisis so that the cholesterol problem was found, before it became something extremely serious. I'm glad to hear you are doing better!!!

Always count the little blessings! Glad you're feeling better now!
Answer:

Glad to hear it was the meds and that you are on medicine for your choleseral!
Answer:

So glad to hear you're doing well and that the meds were the cause. Luckily that's something that is easily fixed. I know how you feel about the cholesterol meds, I was in the same boat and I'm only 27, But my cholesterol went down alot with the meds then I stopped them and it got better. Right now I'm not on meds and it's okay. So MAYBE you won't have to be on them forever. It may also be stress that's causing the cholesterol. I think that was my case.
Answer:

Glad to hear you are doing better. You really have to watch when you are put on new meds.
