My dh is leaving for Texas on Monday. He has to go for work. He will not be back until Friday night. I am so nervous!! The last time he was on a plane, he was 2, so he doesn't even remember it. Plus, we have never been apart for more than 1 night in over 12 years. I just don't know what I'll do without him. But I am trying really hard to be brave so I don't make him feel worse. He is as upset as I am about it. My youngest son cried for 30 minutes when he found out daddy was leaving for a week. Anyway, sorry to just ramble on and on, I just needed to get that out. Please pray that he has a safe trip. Thank you all so much.

Keep busy...and I promise you time will fly. My dh and I had not been seperated for more than overnight for the first 5 years of our marriage. Then, when he did a complete career change, we all had to learn how to handle WEEKS at a time. It was hard, but after many years of being used to him traveling now, we just go with the flow, stay busy, and look forward to the times he gets HOME!

Seperation is never easy and brings up so many emotions.
Think positive and because it is for a week try to roll with the bumps.
Any abrupt changes with Daddy away will only freak you both out.
