Thank you so much for asking! I just got off the phone with him, and I was going through the new posts here at the same time. I was on the 3rd or 4th page of them, when I happened to see your post JUST before I was about to post FOR HIM!!! He wanted me to ask the ladies here on Mommy Savers (who have teens his age) about his situation, and for any advice they would have for him!
He's doing much better today, and told me that the advice I've given him has really opened his eyes in alot of areas. When I told him that there were ladies on this board (that he'll never meet!!) that are praying for him...he almost lost it! So, it means alot to him to know that other people DO care. Even people whom he's never met. At one point he asked me "Why God is doing this to him?", and that he was starting to think that there "wasn't a God". I explained to him that God doesn't "let" bad things happen to people, and that He isn't up in Heaven looking down on him saying, "Ok, now it's Cameron's turn to suffer!" I explained to him that life is a learning process, and that he should consider this time in his life "a test". I told him that God WANTS him to turn to Him in times like these, and that he isn't being punished for something he's done. I think he's really starting to come around, and our last few conversations have been very productive. I thank God for that, as I was beginning to really worry about him.
I just wanted to thank, from the bottom of my heart, all of you who have prayed for him. It seems your prayers have been heard. I think my DS will be okay. Especially since he heard that prayers have been lifted up in his name. God bless you all for your concern. This is what makes Mommy Savers the best site on the web.
