When we first started posting on Craigslist we sold a bunch of stuff and lately we can't sell a thing and it is dirt cheap! I don't know if it is because there is so much stuff on there now or what but I am trying to make some extra money and it is time consuming to list all the stuff and then nobody wants anything. Is this happening to anyone else?

We have been having this problem on EBay lately!!!! Even my dh's model train, which used to sell like crazy aren't moving. Maybe, no one has any money lately!!!

What kind of stuff are you selling? Perhaps put it in a couple different boards on craigslist. That way more potential buyers will see it.

I have been seeing the same stuff posted over and over on our Craigslist, seems it's slow everywhere. Wonder if it's just the time of year, people are going to yard sales instead of "shopping" online, just getting outside and doing more. I know I'm on the computer less when I can be outside enjoying the weather.

I think youre right, nobody has "extra" money right now....but you know what, that's usually when I am looking at Craigslist--when I need to save money.
Prob. depends on what youre selling--people could be too busy or just garage selling, who knows.
I would just be persistant and keep re-listing it. We just got a response from somehting we listed about a month ago, you just never know when they will "bite"

I've noticed that CL always slows during Spring b/c it's yard sale season. I think Fall and Winter are the best times of the year for it! What kind of items are you selling?

I have yet to sell anything on craigslist. We've picked up some stuff for free, but havent sold anything... just listed some more stuff today, that didnt sell at the tag sale.
