Clothes Stains-HELP

Ask:
I have a baby and toddler and am constantly dealing with stains. I feel like I have tried every product and nothing is working at all. The pile just grows from week to week. Can anyone give me some suggestions?!
Answer:

I know what you mean. My new best friend is hydrogen peroxide. It is great at getting out blood stains and some formula/milk/spit up stains. I read that the blue Dawn works well on grease/butter stains. I use x-14 on mildew (only thing I have found that works-I double wash that to get all the x14 out).

Hope that helps. Not necessarily the cheapest stain fighting methods-I just know they work for me (the dawn thing I haven't tried yet so....)

I wish I could remember the name of the stuff I used to use. I have only seen it at Walmart and it is only found in the Baby Department. The bottle is white and the label is pink. It works great for formula and spit up stains. You want to spray everything real good and let it soak on the clothes for around 30 minutes, then wash. I had luck every time. I also have great luck with using Shout the same way.

Sorry I can't remember the name of that stuff. If I can find it I will let you know.

The pp was referring to totally toddler, and it was wonderful for formula, poop stains although I really dont' think for baby food stains. I like spray zout, or oxyclean.
Answer:

I was visiting my mom last month and she used Joop (It comes in an orange bottle) on my kids clothes. It is for cleaning grease and dirt off hands after working outside, but it did a wonderful job on my kids clothes. I was worried it would fade or ruin them but it worked. It even got out a wet sand stain I thought would never come out.
Answer:

Spray and wash and oxy clean get most things out for me

Answer:

I find if you wash all of you clothes in Tide most stains will come out. I pre treat oily stains with dish soap and I pour a little Tide on stains like Tomato sauce and let it sit over night. Since I started using Tide I have not had any problems.

Answer:

Have you tried Zout?? It comes in gel and spray. I love it and it takes most stuff out. I also use Oxiclean in with my liquid detergent if I have lots of stains.
