Why won't my DD stay asleep

Ask:
Ok so I am super tired and DD won't go back to sleep so I can go to sleep. She is still night waking at 13 months. I give in and I nurse her because she is so little. Anyone have similar experiences
Answer:

DD is 3-1/2 and rarely, if ever sleeps through the night. She will usually wake up once and want something to drink. I can't complain because both DH and I usually wake up at least once a night for something to drink. I have actually passed DH on the steps in the middle of the night, I was coming back with a drink and he was heading down for a drink.

So when Riley wakes up and wants a little drink, I let her have one. A little bit of water or even milk!! I know everyone says for them not to drink milk at night because of their teeth, etc...... but her teeth are perfect. Her pediatrican and her dentist have both said so. So if your little one needs a little drink at night, I really can't blame her. So do I.
Answer:

My DS is 19 months old. I nursed him at night up until he was a year old (because he only weighed like 18lb so I wanted to make sure he was getting enough). After his 1st birthday, we would get up and rock him when he woke up. He rarely slept through the night before he was 15 months old. And now he pretty much wakes up 3 out of 7 nights. The only thing we've determined is he has constantly been teething. He's finally cut his "I" teeth!! So hopefully those 2 year molars will hurry up and come through so maybe we'll eventually get a good night's sleep!!

I just try to remind myself (almost daily).... he'll be big boy before I know it and won't need me to hold him and comfort him so I better enjoy it while I can!! To heck with the idea that I'm spoiling him... what's so wrong with spoiling our babies with love & comfort!?!?!
