Ask:
I am looking for a whole bunch of beach friendly stuff for this summer.
Where can I get crocs for the kids and not pay the full price? I like these but dont want to spend $25 and up for a single pair especially when the kids will out grow them so soon!
California baby is by far the most recommended sunscreen. has anyone seen it available at a discounted price?
I have heard of Neat Sheets that are supposed to be oh-so-convenient for the beach and everywhere else. I looked for them in Target and CVS but could not find them. Any ideas?
We are looking forward to spending few days at the beach. I am trying to do it on a budget! It is amazing how quickly these things add up!
thanks in advance.
Answer:
As far as the crocs, I have found that the Airwalk brand at Payless are just as comfortable on my feet and they cost half the price. My kids wear them and I wore them through 2 of my pregnancies.
I havent' seen Neat Sheets around but I do know that they work wonderful. My aunt bought one when they very first came out and she loves it.

I found a knock off brand of crocs at a Meijer store here. They were on sale for $5 - regularly $9.99. Kids love 'em. I don't wear them but I have a friend who does and bought some for herself and loves them too. She said they are very comfortable.
As for the neat sheets, I haven't seen them this year but they are/were great. Maybe use old sheets or a tarp or something?
I have never heard of California baby sunscreen. We use coopertone or banana boat and are happy with that. I just got Banana Boat B1G1Free at Walgreens.
Answer:
I THINK I saw neat sheets on clearance at Walgreens, I will have to check next time I go.

I have super sensitive skin that the kids inherited. I break out for most sun screens. California Baby works best for us. These are supposed to be non chemical based and safe.
I dont like their high price tag though.

Walmart also has knock-off crocs in there store for $6.99 to $9.99. I know others who bought them & said they were comfy. My girls have the airwalks from Payless & i got them when they were BOGO & they practically live in them. They like them a lot!
I haven't heard about the sheets or the sunscreen, sorry I can't help you there.
Have a fun summer at the beach, how fun!
Answer:
so far the best kockoffs I brought were the walmart brand (and I hate walmart). I got the skeetchers at B1G1F and they broke the first time dd wore them. I have the crocos knockoffs and mine just broke(strap).

I only do the real Crocs - softer, longer lasting and have an antimicrobial built in. Lowest price I've seen so far is $24.99.
Neat Sheets I've found at BabiesRUs and Walgreens.
Answer:

Answer:
They carry knock off crocs at baby r us and toys r us. I would think toys r us would have some of the bigger sizes. I bought a pair for my toddler for $9.99 with was cheaper than Payless at $14.99.
