My brother will be home this Saturday!! I am soooooooo excited. He has been in South Korea this past year. It has been so hard not seeing him for an entire year. We are really close and are used to just going down the street to see each other. My sister-in-law, my nephew, and I will be meeting him at the airport on Saturday. I think I am going to check on limo prices to take us up and back.
He will be home for three weeks and then off to Ft. Sill, OK. He will be there for this next year. At least he will be in the states and a short plane ride away. Keeping our fingers crossed that he won't go over seas again- For a little while anyway. I know that he will probably go back over eventually. It's like a double edged sword. We want our loved ones to do their jobs, but we want them to be with us and be safe too.
My nephew leaves today for reserve basic training. My step-son leaves for the same training next Wednesday. My other nephew is in the Marines. My brother is in the Army. I am so proud of them all.
