Ask:
I have a baby shower to attend next weekend, but dh was laid off for about a week and we have no cash to spare! I started looking around the house and found enough new baby items to put together an awesome basket and spend virtually no money!! These are the benefits of both regifting and stockpiling! I am soo proud of myself!
Answer:
Sweet. I love when you can do that. I did that for a bridal shower I went to this summer.
Answer:
I love it when that happens. my dh lost his job I did this for 2 years. I ate up all my stockpiles. things I got for my kids I gave to others as I scaled back on things at home. we eeked it out and now I get to start stockpiling again. now that is fun!

I so happy that someone besides me does things like this. A good friend at the office is due in November and I was getting xmas present together . We I happened upon a NWT Gymboree blanket that was suppose to be sent back but never did. So I did a gift of that blanket, a new Old Navy bib, a cute little new pair of sock, and some board books that I just got at the Barns & Noble sale. So the gift is ready all I need is a card.
Answer:

That is so cool. I was watching Oprah and her high paid "consultants" who say regifting is tacky and I totally disagree! Thank you for proving why. If we can't use it and it's new, and someone else will like it, why not? People who have lots of $ forget the real world.
