Everything that i try to plan for the day keeps falling through. Dh is going to have a really late night, and today is our last day with DSS so i am trying to plan something fun and inexpensive.
I was going to take them to the pool but DSS is 6 adn can swim (not well enought that i would want him in the big pool without me) adn doesn't want to stay in the baby pool while the other two have to stay in the little pool still. So that idea doesn't work. I was going to take them to the lake but since i am starting to dialate the dr. said that is a no go, i could get my feet wet, and again, DSS swims and won't stay close to shore, so i don't want to risk that either.
What is something that i can do with them that won't make me completely hot and miserable? Any ideas? They are 6, 4 and 3

Do you have a sprinkler you could turn on and let them run through? DD loves that. Or I have a couple of spray bottles that I fill up with water and we run around the yard spraying each other.
I just noticed that your location is Guntersville, AL. We were just at the lake this past weekend for a family reunion. It was beautiful there.

I love it here, it really is beautiful. Not as much to do as cali, but beautiful.
I think that you two just planned our day. We can start getting ready for the picnic and when we get home play in the water! , I am such a dork, this should be common knowledge but my brain is just not working right today.
