Has anyone ever made goat cheese? Have you tasted it?
My niece (whom I keep her 2 children, 3 days a week) made cheese last night out of goat milk. I don't like any kind of milk and I can't seem to bring myself to taste it.
I was just wondering if any of you ladies have ever tried it.

I've never made it personally but I love goat cheese! It's great on salads, stuffed in butterflied chicken breasts etc

Personally, I can't STAND it. I like bleu cheese, and that's as close as I would say it is to it, but there's something different tasting about it. Sorry to offend, if anyone likes it. Just my HO.

Well it really depends on what kind of cheese you like...I like all kinds, hard, soft, semi-soft etc Goat cheese can have a different texture than other types of cheese, which some people don't like. Try some (or don't)...nobody can tell you whether you are going to like it or not, it's just personal taste preference.

I'm not a fan of just eating it like I might a slice of cheddar, but I do like it on salads or cooked in things

I love goat cheese but kind of like you I can't stand the thought of goat milk so I just don't think about it. I don't think I knew what kind of milk was in the cheese when I first tried it. If I had, I probably still wouldn't like it.
