Anyone else have to visit the basement because of tornado warnings today? Hope everyone is safe. Weather service yesterday sent out a warning about today's storms being potentionally dangerous. That's the first time I remember them issuing a warning the day before for tornadoes/thunderstorms. Thankfully so far there are just funnel clouds, no touch-downs yet.

Good luck!! I'm not in your area but I have family in the midwest and I grew up in those scary storms!! We have high wind alert out West and there are actually hurricane force winds a little farther west of me. So, I somewhat feel your pain today!!! Hang on tight and if you hit your head and pass out only to wake in a brightly colored munchkin village, start clicking your heels...FAST!!!

My sons school had the kids in their safe zones today as the storms went over and the tornado sirens went off, also. I'm glad it blew over quickly!!

It hasn't hit us yet, but they have forecast severe storms with up to golfball-size hail & possibility of tornadoes for this evening. I'm hoping they bypass us, especially since DH has to work tonight.
